Summary

Rename a management folder by specifying its current identifier (Node ID or Path) and providing a new name.

Inputs

• Identify By (required) — Select whether to identify the folder to rename by its Node ID or its Path.
• Node ID (required) — The unique identifier of the folder/node to rename (used if identifying by Node ID). Leave empty for root.
• Path to Folder (required) — The path of the folder to rename (used if identifying by Path). For example, '/New Folder'.
• New Name (required) — The new name to assign to the folder.

Output shape

An object representing the updated folder details after renaming.

The output is a single item containing the response from the API after renaming the folder. The output structure depends on the API response. Errors will throw a NodeApiError.
