Summary

Retrieve all dependencies of a specified rule (by its ID or alias) from the DecisionRules management tool, optionally for a specific rule version.

Inputs

• Rule ID or Alias (required) — Provide the unique identifier or alias of the rule for which to find dependencies.
• Rule Version — Specify the version of the rule to query. Defaults to the latest version if left empty.

Output shape

a list of dependency objects related to the specified rule and version, returned as an array of JSON items.

The output is always an array even if only one dependency is found. If no version is specified, the latest rule version is used by default. Errors during the HTTP request will throw a NodeApiError.

Examples

Example 1: Find dependencies for the rule with ID 'my-rule-alias' using its latest version.

Set 'Rule ID or Alias' to 'my-rule-alias' and leave 'Rule Version' blank.
