Summary

Create a presentation, document, or social post from a required prompt using the Gamma 5 agent, which plans, writes, and designs the content. Optionally guide the run with instructions, source URLs, a template, card count, quality, folder, export, and sharing settings.

Inputs

  • Prompt (required) — Brief describing what the agent should create; supports up to about 400,000 characters.
  • Format — Presentation (default), document, or social post. Gamma 5 does not support webpage generation.
  • Additional Instructions — Extra guidance such as tone, audience, language, or style; maximum 5,000 characters.
  • Disable Connectors — Set true to prevent the agent from reading workspace connectors such as Notion or Slack.
  • Email Access Level — Access level for email recipients; used only when Email Recipients is provided. Defaults to view.
  • Email Recipients — Comma-separated addresses to share with; maximum 25.
  • Export As — Optionally request a PDF, PNG, or PPTX export; Gamma provides a download URL when generation completes.
  • External Access — Access level for external users through a link; defaults to workspace settings.
  • Folder — Optional single folder for the generated Gamma, selectable from the list or by ID.
  • Number of Cards — Target card count, default 10. The agent may produce a card or two more or fewer; plan limits apply (10 on Free, 100 on paid plans).
  • Quality — Quality preset: workspace default, Lite, Max, or Standard. Max requires an eligible plan.
  • Source URLs — Comma-separated HTTP(S) pages for the agent to use as source material; maximum 10. Unreadable pages are skipped.
  • Template — Optional workspace or official Gamma template to start from; leave empty to let the agent choose a design.
  • Workspace Access — Access level for workspace members; defaults to workspace settings.

Output shape

A generation response containing an ID that can be used with the Generation > Get Status operation.

Generation is asynchronous. If an export was requested, its download URL is provided when generation completes.
