Summary

Checks the status of a Gamma generation by sending a GET request with its generation ID. Accepts IDs from either the classic Create operation or Gamma 5 Create operation.

Inputs

• Generation ID (required) — The generationId returned by a Create operation. Gamma 5 IDs start with gen_; either generation type is accepted.
• Request Options — Optional request controls: batch input items (default 50 per batch, 1000 ms interval; set batch size to -1 to disable), accept invalid SSL certificates, use an HTTP proxy, or set the response-header timeout (default 10000 ms).

Output shape

A single API response item containing the generation status.

The request path is selected from the ID prefix: IDs starting with gen_ use the Gamma 5 agent endpoint; other IDs use the classic generations endpoint. The operation checks status once per request; it does not repeatedly poll until completion.
