Summary

Create a new Telegram supergroup or channel with a specified title and optional description.

Inputs

• Title (required) — The title for the new supergroup or channel.
• Description — A description for the chat, up to 255 characters.
• Is Channel? — Boolean indicating whether to create a channel (true) or supergroup (false). Defaults to false.

Output shape

A single JSON object representing the created chat (supergroup or channel).

The output consists of the details of the created chat as returned by the Telegram API via the client.invoke call to 'createNewSupergroupChat'. No pagination or additional envelopes.

Examples

Example 1: Create a supergroup chat titled 'Project Team' with a description

Set Title to 'Project Team', set Is Channel? to false, and add an optional Description.

Example 2: Create a channel titled 'Announcements'

Set Title to 'Announcements', set Is Channel? to true, and optionally add a Description.
