Summary

Publishes a text post to the selected Facebook Page, optionally attaching an image, adding a link preview, or scheduling publication. Markdown and HTML message formats are converted to Unicode styling before submission.

Inputs

• Facebook Account (required) — Select the Facebook Page to publish to.
• Message (required) — Text for the post. Choose Plain Text, Markdown, or HTML in Message Format; Markdown and HTML are converted to Unicode formatting.
• Message Format — Defaults to Plain Text. Markdown and HTML are converted to Unicode styling and simplified text layout.
• Image Source — Choose None (default), URL, or Binary File to attach an image.
• Image URL — Public image URL, shown when Image Source is URL.
• Binary Property (required) — Name of the incoming binary property containing the image; defaults to data. Used when Image Source is Binary File.
• Link Preview — Defaults to false. When enabled, the first HTTP or HTTPS URL found in the original message is sent as the link preview URL.
• Schedule Publish Time — Optional date and time. When provided, it is converted to a Unix timestamp in seconds for scheduled publication; when empty, the post is submitted for immediate publication.

Output shape

One n8n item per input item, containing the API response as JSON on success.

Facebook publish errors are returned as JSON items with error, details, and hint fields rather than thrown by the publish request handler. If Continue On Fail is enabled, other per-item errors are also returned as JSON error items.
