Summary

Create a type in the selected Anytype space. Choose Simple mode to provide its name, plural name, layout, and optional key, or JSON mode to send a raw CreateTypeRequest body, including property links or an icon.

Inputs

• Space (required) — Select the space where the type will be created.
• Body Mode — Choose Simple to fill in fields or JSON to provide the request body directly.
• Name (required) — Type name in Simple mode.
• Plural Name (required) — Plural form of the type name in Simple mode; sent as plural_name.
• Layout (required) — Choose Basic, Profile, Action, or Note in Simple mode.
• Key — Optional snake_case key in Simple mode; Anytype auto-generates it when empty.
• Body (JSON) (required) — Raw CreateTypeRequest JSON in JSON mode. The request requires layout, name, and plural_name; JSON mode can also link properties or set an icon.
• Request Options — Optional batching, SSL certificate validation, proxy, and timeout settings.

A single type record

The response's type field is unwrapped. An empty or missing type payload produces an empty JSON item.
