Summary

Update a type in a selected Anytype space by sending a PATCH request. In Simple mode, provide any fields to change; use JSON mode for raw UpdateTypeRequest bodies, including linking properties or setting an icon.

Inputs

• Space (required) — Select the Anytype space containing the type.
• Type (required) — Select the type to update; its options depend on the selected space.
• Body Mode — Choose Simple to fill in fields or JSON to provide the raw request body.
• Name — In Simple mode, the type name to update. Omitted when left blank.
• Plural Name — In Simple mode, the type's plural name to update. Omitted when left blank.
• Layout — In Simple mode, optionally set the layout to Basic, Profile, Action, or Note. Omitted when left blank.
• Key — In Simple mode, optionally set the type's snake_case key. Omitted when left blank.
• Body (JSON) (required) — In JSON mode, provide the raw UpdateTypeRequest body. Defaults to {}.
• Request Options — Optional request settings for batching, SSL certificate validation, proxy, and timeout.

Output shape

A single type record

The response is unwrapped from the API's type field. If the response does not contain a type object, the node may return an empty item.
