Summary

Send a plain text message to a team chat group by its name (without the @ prefix), optionally naming the bot sender, attaching buttons or files, and applying message options.

Inputs

• Group Name (required) — The name of the group (without the @ prefix) to which the message will be sent.
• Bot Name — The name of the bot sending the message, sent as a query parameter.
• Plain Text (required) — The plain text content of the message to send.
• Buttons (JSON) — An optional JSON array defining interactive message buttons to include in the message.
• Files (JSON) — An optional JSON array defining files to attach to the message.
• Options — Options controlling message behavior such as 'silent', 'immutable', or 'do not post'.
• Request ID — An idempotency key to ensure the message request is processed only once.

Output shape

The operation returns a response object containing the message creation result from the Channel Talk API.

The message is sent via a POST request to the endpoint /open/v5/groups/@{groupName}/messages, where groupName is the target group's name without the @ prefix. Optional fields like buttons, files, and options are included in the request body if provided.
