Summary

Create a new Channel Talk user or update an existing user identified by the provided Member ID.

Inputs

• Member ID (required) — Your service member ID. If a user with this ID exists, it will be updated; otherwise, a new user will be created.
• Blocked — Whether the user is blocked from sending messages.
• Profile (JSON) — JSON object with user profile fields such as name, email, mobileNumber (E.164 format), avatarUrl, firstName, lastName, landlineNumber, recentPurchaseCount (integer), recentPurchaseAmount (number), and custom fields.
• Profile Once (JSON) — JSON object with profile fields to set only if not already present, for default values without overwriting existing data.
• Tags (JSON Array) — JSON array of tag strings to assign to the user (max 20 tags). Example: ["vip", "premium", "active"].
• Unsubscribe Email — Whether the user has opted out of receiving marketing emails.
• Unsubscribe Texting — Whether the user has opted out of receiving marketing text messages.

Output shape

a single record representing the created or updated user

The operation uses PUT to create or update the user by memberId, and returns the user data as the result.
