Summary

Create a new Leave Application document in ERPNext HRMS by providing the document data as JSON.

Inputs

• API Version — Choose between v1 (/api/resource) and v2 (/api/v2/document) of the Frappe REST API; defaults to v1.
• Data JSON (required) — Provide the Leave Application document data in JSON format to create the record in ERPNext.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the created Leave Application document as returned by the ERPNext API

The structure corresponds to the ERPNext document created, and depends on the ERPNext API version chosen. Errors during creation will throw but can be optionally caught if 'Continue On Fail' is enabled.

Examples

Example 1: Create a Leave Application for an employee with specified dates and status

Select resource 'Leave Application', operation 'Create', specify API Version as needed, and input the Leave Application data JSON.
