Summary

Extract specified types of data such as emails, phone numbers, URLs, dates, monetary amounts, hashtags, mentions, and numbers from a text field within input items, adding them as new output fields with a configurable prefix.

Inputs

• Text Field (required) — The name of the field in the input item containing the text to extract data from
• What to Extract (required) — The types of data to extract from the text; multiple types can be selected from emails, phone numbers, URLs, dates, monetary amounts, hashtags, mentions, and numbers
• Output Prefix (required) — The prefix to prepend to each output field containing extracted data (e.g., 'extracted_emails')
• Options — Optional settings including Track Changes (whether to add a _changes field describing modifications), Continue On Fail (whether to proceed on item errors), Skip Unchanged (exclude items without any extracted data), Case Insensitive Fields (whether field name matching ignores case), and Debug Mode (include detailed debug info in _debug field)

Output shape

a list of items with the extracted data appended to each item's JSON using fields prefixed by the configured output prefix

Extracted data fields correspond to the selected types and contain arrays of extracted values. If Track Changes is enabled, a _changes field details which extraction was performed. Debug Mode adds a _debug field with detailed processing info. Items with no changes can be omitted if Skip Unchanged is set. Processing continues or halts on errors based on Continue On Fail setting.

Example 1: Incoming item has field 'message' with text including emails and URLs, configured to extract emails and URLs with prefix 'extracted_'
