Summary

Normalize email addresses by trimming whitespace and converting them to lowercase, optionally saving results to a new field, and optionally tracking changes or excluding unchanged items.

Inputs

• Email Field (required) — The field name containing the email address to normalize; supports dot notation for nested fields.
• Output Field — Optional field to save the normalized email; if empty, the original field is overwritten.
• Options — Configuration options including tracking changes, continuing on failure, skipping unchanged items, case insensitive field matching, and debug mode.

Output shape

A list of data items with emails normalized; each item is the input JSON with modified email field(s) and optionally _changes, _changesSummary, and _debug fields.

If no changes were made and 'Skip Unchanged' is enabled, corresponding items are excluded from output. Change tracking and debug information are included based on options set.
