Summary

Retrieve the list of changes (diffs) for a specified merge request within a GitLab project.

Inputs

• Authentication — Select the authentication mode: use saved credentials ('Credential') or specify custom GitLab server URL and access token ('Custom'). Defaults to 'Credential'.
• GitLab Server — Base URL of your GitLab instance, e.g. 'https://gitlab.com'. Used only if 'Custom' authentication is selected.
• Access Token — Personal access token with API permissions for authentication; used with 'Custom' authentication.
• Project Locator — Choose how to identify the project: by numeric ID ('ID') or by namespace and project slug path ('Path'). Defaults to 'ID'.
• Project ID — Numeric ID of the project; used when 'Project Locator' is set to 'ID'.
• Project Owner — Namespace or owner of the project; used when 'Project Locator' is set to 'Path'.
• Project Name — Project slug or name; used when 'Project Locator' is set to 'Path'.
• Merge Request IID (required) — Internal ID (IID) of the merge request (must be positive).

Output shape

a single record containing the merge request changes (diffs) object returned by GitLab API

The operation issues a GET request to the endpoint '/projects/{project}/merge_requests/{mergeRequestIid}/changes' and returns the JSON response. Requires valid project identification and merge request IID. Errors occur if mandatory parameters are missing or invalid.
