Summary

Retrieve discussions from a specified merge request within a GitLab project.

Inputs

• Authentication — Choose between saved credentials or custom token and server URL for API access (default is 'credential').
• GitLab Server — Base URL of the GitLab instance, used only if Authentication is set to 'custom' (default is 'https://gitlab.com').
• Access Token — Personal access token with the required API permissions, used only if Authentication is 'custom'.
• Project Locator — Choose how to identify the project ('ID' or 'Path').
• Project ID — Numeric project ID, required if Project Locator is 'ID'.
• Project Owner — Namespace or owner of the project, required if Project Locator is 'Path'.
• Project Name — Project slug or name, required if Project Locator is 'Path'.
• Merge Request IID (required) — Positive internal ID (IID) of the merge request to get discussions from.
• Return All — Whether to return all discussions or limit the number returned (default false).
• Limit — Maximum number of discussions to return if Return All is false (default 50).

Output shape

a list of discussion objects

Supports pagination: set Return All to true to retrieve all discussions across multiple pages. Errors occur if required parameters are missing or invalid.

Examples

Example 1: Fetch up to 10 discussions of merge request IID 42 by project ID

Set Project Locator to 'ID', enter Project ID, specify Merge Request IID as 42, set Limit to 10, and Return All to false.

Example 2: Fetch all discussions of a merge request identified by project path

Set Project Locator to 'Path', provide Project Owner and Project Name, specify Merge Request IID, and enable Return All to true.
