Summary

Creates a new Contact record in McMain.

Inputs

• name (required) — Last name of the contact
• additionalFields — Optional contact attributes such as first name, initials, telephone, email, address, vendor ID, account ID, financial reference, etc.
• requestOptions — HTTP request settings including batching, SSL verification, proxy, and timeout.

Output shape

A single Contact object representing the created record.

All provided fields are returned; system may add identifiers. No pagination; success or failure only.

Examples

Example 1: Add a basic contact

Set Last Name to 'Smith', Additional Fields: firstName='John', email='john.smith@example.com', requestOptions default.

Example 2: Create contact with batch request

Fill Additional Fields with data, enable batching with batchSize=50, default batchInterval.

Example 3: Create contact with custom proxy and timeout

Provide proxy URL, set timeout to 15000 ms, leave other fields unchanged.
