Summary

Updates a Work Order by sending the specified fields to the McMain API.

Inputs

• id (required) — ID of the work order to update.
• updateFields — Collection of fields to update, such as description, priorityId, etc.
• requestOptions — Optional request settings like batch size, timeout, proxy, etc.

a single updated work order record

The response includes the updated fields; may include pagination or error envelope.

Examples

Example 1: Update a work order's description and priority

Set id to 12345, add description and priorityId to updateFields, leave requestOptions empty.

Example 2: Batch update multiple work orders

Configure batching with batchSize 50 in requestOptions, provide ids via workflow items.

Example 3: Update with proxy and SSL verification disabled

Provide proxy URL and set allowUnauthorizedCerts to true in requestOptions.
