Summary

Render a live URL, raw HTML, or Markdown as a hosted image or PDF and return its signed link. Use Template Data for placeholders in HTML or Markdown; optional capture settings control rendering, and Link Expiry sets the link lifetime (0 uses the 30-day default).

Inputs

  • Source (required) — Choose URL, HTML, or Markdown. Provide the matching required URL, HTML (up to 5 MB), or Markdown (up to 5 MB) input.
  • Template Data (JSON) — Optional JSON object used to fill {{placeholders}} in HTML or Markdown; not sent for URL input.
  • Format (required) — Output format: JPEG, PDF, PNG (default), or WebP.
  • Link Expiry (Seconds) — Signed link lifetime in seconds; 0 uses the default of 30 days. The UI describes a supported range of 3600–2592000 seconds.
  • Additional Options — Optional rendering controls such as viewport/device, full-page capture, selector targeting, load waits, CSS/JavaScript, cookies, headers, geo-targeting, image resizing/quality, and PDF page settings. Only nonempty values are sent; hide selectors are split on commas or newlines. Cache TTL is labeled for async captures, but this operation sends it as a capture option if provided.

Output shape

A single n8n item per input item, with a JSON object containing the render-link response data.

The node returns response.data when present, otherwise the full response. It does not return image/PDF binary data; the service response supplies the hosted link and any other returned fields.
