Summary

Update an existing Rendex watch by ID, changing its monitoring schedule, detection mode, alert settings, or capture configuration. Re-pointing it to a new URL clears its baseline so the next check establishes a new one; webhook URL and notification email can be cleared with - or none.

Inputs

• Watch ID (required) — The watch ID, available from a Create or Get Many result.
• Update Fields (required) — Choose at least one field to update. Options include the monitored URL, check interval, change detection mode, name, paused state, visual threshold, alert webhook or email, AI summary, capture format, page or viewport scope, emulated device and dark mode, ad and cookie banner handling, element and hide selectors, geo country, text ignore rules, minimum text change size, suppression markers, and monitor identity. Leaving a field out preserves its current setting; - or none clears the webhook URL or notification email. Hide Selectors accepts comma- or newline-separated selectors; Ignore Text and Suppress While Present accept newline-separated entries.

Output shape

A single n8n item containing the updated watch record as JSON.

The node sends a PATCH request for the specified watch. If no update fields produce a request body, the operation errors and asks for at least one field. Errors are raised unless Continue On Fail is enabled, in which case an item with an error field is returned.
