Shopify CustomInstall

Summary

Updates a Shopify customer by global customer ID, setting the supplied contact details, name, note, tax exemption, marketing consent, or tags. Choose an output mode to return simplified data, the raw response, or selected fields.

Inputs

• Authentication — Select Admin API credentials or OAuth2. Admin API credentials is the default.
• Customer ID (required) — The customer’s global Shopify ID, such as gid://shopify/....
• Email — Email address to update.
• Phone — Phone number to update.
• First Name — Customer’s first name.
• Last Name — Customer’s last name.
• Note — Note to set on the customer.
• Tax Exempt — Whether the customer is tax exempt; defaults to false.
• Accepts Marketing — Whether the customer accepts marketing; defaults to false.
• Tags — Comma-separated tags to set.
• Output Mode — Choose Simplified (default), Raw, or Selected Fields output.
• Selected Fields — Fields to include when Output Mode is Selected Fields; enter comma-separated field names.

Output shape

A single customer result for each input item.

The result is shaped according to Output Mode. The selected fields parameter applies only in Selected Fields mode.
