Summary

Create a new project by specifying its title, phase ID, and type ID, along with optional additional project details.

Inputs

• Title (required) — The title of the project.
• Phase ID (Project Folder) (required) — Numeric ID of the project folder the project belongs to.
• Type ID (Project Type) (required) — Numeric ID of the project type.
• Additional Fields — Optional fields including description, goal, benefit, start and end dates, budget, currency, department ID, location ID, project manager (email or ID), status ID, workflow ID, hourly rate, personal hourly rate usage flag, block time recording flag, external ID, no feed flag, and timezone ID.

Output shape

a JSON object representing the created project, including its assigned identifiers and all specified fields.

The creation is performed via a POST request to the smenso API and returns the full project data as JSON. The operation supports specifying a timezone ID and other optional fields; if omitted, defaults are applied (e.g., timezone defaults to 'W. Europe Standard Time'). The operation may be asynchronous, returning a ticket ID for tracking in some cases, but this implementation returns the created project JSON directly.
