Summary

Create a new time record for a specified project, booking time against a particular task and user on a given date.

Inputs

• Project ID (required) — The GUID of the project
• Task ID (required) — The GUID of the task to book time against
• User ID or Email (required) — Identifier of the user for whom the time is recorded
• Date (required) — The date the time was recorded
• Additional Fields — Optional fields to specify duration in minutes (or start and end date/time), status ID, external ID, and timezone ID (defaults to 'W. Europe Standard Time')

Output shape

a list of time record objects representing the created time record(s)

The operation sends a POST request to create the time record and returns the API response as a JSON array. The duration can be specified either as total minutes or with start and end date/times. Status ID, external ID, and timezone are optional with default values.

Example 1: Create a time record for user 'john@example.com' on task '123' for project 'abc' on '2024-06-01' with 120 minutes duration
