Summary

Create a new status report in a specified project with required details like title, status date, and overall status, optionally including explanation, next steps, target date, and status indicators for time, cost, and goals.

Inputs

• Project ID (required) — The GUID of the project for which to create the status report.
• Title (required) — Title of the status report.
• Status Date (required) — Date and time of the status report.
• Overall Status (required) — Overall status indicator of the report (options 1-7: Green, Yellow, Red, On Hold, Not Started, Completed, Cancelled).
• Additional Fields — Optional additional data including explanation text, next steps, target date, time/cost/goal status IDs, progress percentage, publication state, external ID, no feed flag, and timezone ID.

Output shape

A JSON object representing the created status report as returned by the API.

The creation request sends the data as a POST to the Smenso API endpoint for status reports and returns the API response containing details of the newly created status report. Errors are handled and can be returned in the workflow if configured.

Examples

Example 1: Create a status report with mandatory fields

Set Project ID, Title, Status Date and Overall Status, and execute the node.

Example 2: Create a detailed status report

Set mandatory fields and add optional Explanation, Next Steps, Target Date, status indicators (Time Status ID, Cost Status ID, Goal Status ID), progress percentage, and publication flag in Additional Fields.
