Artwork → PSD Mockup: Render

AI-generated

Summary

Render an uploaded PSD mockup by placing designs into its smart objects and optionally overriding text or hiding layers. Configure export settings and choose whether to receive the render response immediately or queue it as a job.

Inputs

  • Mockup UUID (required) — UUID of the uploaded PSD template.
  • Smart Objects — Add one or more smart objects by UUID and supply each design as a URL; choose Fill, Fit, or Crop. Optional settings can instead provide base64 image data, which takes priority over the URL, and adjust size, position, rotation, color overlay, appearance, or background removal. Background removal adds 25 credits per artwork.
  • Text Layers — JSON array of text layer overrides. Each entry needs a layer UUID and either text or segments; font, font size, colors, and fit behavior can also be provided.
  • Hidden Layers — JSON array of up to 50 layer UUIDs to hide, using UUIDs from PSD Mockup: Get Layers. Hiding a group hides its contents; hiding a layer inside a smart object affects every copy.
  • Export Options — Set image format (WebP, PNG, or JPEG), output width or the PSD's original size, quality, DPI metadata, and an optional export label. Quality applies to JPEG and WebP; PNG is lossless. DPI does not change pixel dimensions.
  • Run Asynchronously — When enabled, queue the render and return a render job ID for tracking with Get Job.

Output shape

A single JSON item containing the API response, with renderedImageUrl and allRenderedUrls added when rendered file paths are present.

At least one smart object, text layer override, or hidden layer is required. With asynchronous processing, the response contains the queued job information instead of the inline rendered files.
