Copy a Telegram message from one chat to another using the bot token. The copied message is sent to the destination chat, with optional reply markup and a reply-to message ID.

Inputs

  • Bot Token (required) — Telegram bot token; defaults to the incoming item’s access_token or token.
  • Chat ID (required) — Destination chat ID; defaults to the incoming item’s chatId or channel.external_id.
  • From Chat ID (required) — Chat ID containing the message to copy.
  • Message ID (required) — Telegram message_id of the message to copy.
  • Reply to Message ID — Optional destination message_id to reply to; only passed when greater than 0.
  • Use Redis Rate Limit — When enabled and Redis credentials are available, throttles requests per bot. The node also retries eligible Telegram 429 responses.

Output shape

A Telegram Message object for each successfully copied message, on the Success output.

The node also has a User Blocked (403) output and an Error output. With n8n Continue On Fail enabled, non-403 failures are routed to Error; otherwise they are thrown. Reply markup is accepted by the node and passed to Telegram when nonempty.
