Send Location

AI-generated

Summary

Send a Telegram location to the specified chat using the bot token. Optionally attach reply markup or reply to an existing message.

Inputs

  • Bot Token (required) — Telegram bot token; defaults to the input item’s access_token or token.
  • Chat ID (required) — Destination chat ID; defaults to the input item’s chatId or channel.external_id.
  • Latitude (required) — Latitude of the location to send.
  • Longitude (required) — Longitude of the location to send.
  • Reply to Message ID — If greater than 0, replies to that message in the destination chat.
  • Reply Markup — JSON for Telegram reply markup, such as an inline keyboard; omitted if empty or invalid.
  • Use Redis Rate Limit — When enabled and Redis credentials are available, throttles requests per bot. The API call also retries eligible Telegram 429 errors.

Output shape

A Telegram Message object for each successful input item.

The node routes 403 errors to its “User Blocked (403)” output. With n8n’s Continue On Fail enabled, other errors go to the Error output; otherwise they are thrown.
