Summary

Send a Telegram dice animation to the specified chat, using one of the supported emoji styles. The node returns Telegram’s sent message data on the Success output, with separate outputs for 403 errors and other errors when n8n is set to continue on fail.

Inputs

  • Bot Token (required) — Telegram bot token; defaults to the incoming item’s access_token or token.
  • Chat ID (required) — Telegram chat to send the dice to; defaults to the incoming item’s chatId or channel.external_id.
  • Emoji — Dice, darts, basketball, football, bowling, or slot. Defaults to 🎲.
  • Reply to Message ID — Positive Telegram message ID to reply to; defaults to 0, which sends without a reply.
  • Reply Markup — JSON reply keyboard or inline keyboard markup; defaults to the incoming item’s reply_markup. Invalid JSON is ignored.
  • Use Redis Rate Limit — When enabled, uses the Redis credential to throttle requests per bot. Defaults to false.

Output shape

A Telegram Message object for each successful input item, on the Success output.

403 errors are routed to User Blocked (403); other errors go to Error when Continue On Fail is enabled, otherwise they are thrown. API calls retry up to three times when Telegram returns a 429 with a retry_after value.
