Summary

Create a Whaapy contact with a name and phone number, optionally adding an email, tags, custom fields, or metadata. The operation sends the contact data to Whaapy and returns the API response as one n8n item.

Inputs

• Name (required) — Contact name.
• Phone Number (required) — Contact phone number, typically including the country code.
• Email — Optional email address.
• Tags — Optional comma-separated tags; the node trims entries and sends them as an array.
• Custom Fields — Optional JSON object of custom field values.
• Metadata — Optional JSON object of metadata to attach to the contact.

Output shape

A single record containing the API response for the created contact.

The response is returned as one n8n item per input item. Custom Fields and Metadata are parsed as JSON when provided as strings.
