Summary

Retrieve a Whaapy contact by its ID or phone number. Choose the lookup method, then provide the required ID or country-code phone number; phone lookup first checks for a matching contact and then fetches it by ID.

Inputs

• Lookup By — Select ID (default) or Phone Number.
• Contact ID (required) — Contact ID to retrieve when Lookup By is ID.
• Phone Number (required) — Contact phone number, including country code, when Lookup By is Phone Number.

Output shape

A single item containing the contact response as JSON.

Phone lookup raises an error if no matching contact is found. With Continue On Fail enabled, an error is returned as an item with an error field.
