Summary

Creates a ServiceTitan customer with a required name and customer type, plus billing address, service locations, contact methods, and custom fields when provided. If no locations are entered, the operation creates one using the customer name and billing address.

Inputs

• Customer Name (required) — Customer name.
• Customer Type (required) — Residential or Commercial; defaults to Residential.
• Billing Address — Street, city, state, ZIP, and country must all be present for ServiceTitan to accept the address. Country defaults to US. The address is optional in the node; legacy flat address fields can fill missing values.
• Locations — Add service addresses for the customer. If omitted, one location is created from the customer name and billing address. Each location can have a name and address; a blank location name defaults to the customer name.
• Phone — Adds a phone contact entry. Phone Type selects Phone or Mobile Phone and defaults to Phone.
• Email — Adds an email contact entry.
• Additional Contacts — Add contact entries, each with one type (Phone, Mobile Phone, Email, or Fax), a value, and an optional memo.
• Custom Fields — Map available ServiceTitan customer custom fields.
• Custom Fields (JSON) — Provide custom fields as JSON entries containing typeId and value. These entries are merged over mapped fields by typeId.
• Additional Fields — Optional flags and legacy address, phone, email, and fax fields. Legacy fields fill gaps in the corresponding address or contact inputs.

Output shape

A single n8n item containing the created customer response from ServiceTitan.

The operation sends a create request for each incoming input item. ServiceTitan requires at least one location; if none is supplied, the node constructs one from the customer name and billing address. The billing address is sent only when all required address parts are present.
