Read a message from Z‑API

Inputs

• phone (required) — Phone number with country code (e.g., 5511999999999)
• messageId (required) — ID of the message

Output shape

a single message object

Returns the API response containing the message details; errors are thrown and can be handled via continueOnFail.

Examples

Example 1: Read a specific WhatsApp message to retrieve its content

Set Resource to 'message', Operation to 'readMessage', fill Phone Number and Message ID

Example 2: Fetch message data for subsequent actions like forwarding or reacting

Same as above; optionally enable 'Continue on fail' to handle missing messages
