Summary

Retrieve multiple Shopware categories with optional filtering and pagination controls.

Inputs

• Return All — Boolean flag to decide whether to return all matching categories or limit to a specific number.
• Limit — Maximum number of categories to return when 'Return All' is false, between 1 and 500 (default 50).
• Filters — Optional filters to restrict results by active status, creation date range, specific fields, category IDs, child count range, name, and parent ID.

Output shape

A list of category objects matching the filter criteria.

The output array size respects 'Return All' and 'Limit' settings. If 'Fields' filter is set, only specified fields are returned per category; otherwise, full category data is returned.

Examples

Example 1: Get all active categories with a child count of at least 2, returning all available fields.

Set 'Return All' to true, 'Filters' with 'Active' as true, and 'Min Child Count' as 2.

Example 2: Get up to 100 categories created before January 1, 2023, filtered by name containing 'Clothes'.

Set 'Return All' to false, 'Limit' to 100, and under 'Filters' set 'Created At Max' to 2023-01-01 and 'Name' to 'Clothes'.
