Upload a file to Directus

Inputs

• binaryData (required) — The file to upload, provided as binary data from a previous node.

Output shape

object

Returns the file record created in Directus. If the 'Simplify' option is enabled, the output contains a trimmed version with only the essential fields (id, filename, filesize, mime type, etc.).

Examples

Example 1: Upload an image received from an HTTP Request node

Set Resource to 'File', Operation to 'Upload a File', enable 'Simplify' if a compact response is desired, and connect the HTTP Request node's binary output to this node.
