Summary

Fetches a single user from Directus by ID and returns the raw JSON response.

Inputs

• User ID (required) — The ID of the user to retrieve. Can be set using an expression that references data from previous nodes.
• Query Parameters — Optional raw JSON object containing Directus query parameters (fields, filter, sort, limit, etc.) to shape the request, e.g. { fields: [ '*' ], filter: { status: { _eq: 'active' } } }

Output shape

array of items

For each input item, the node outputs an item whose json contains the raw user object returned by Directus. If the request fails and 'Continue On Fail' is enabled, the output will contain an error object instead.

Example 1: Get a user with specific fields

Set User ID to {{$json[0].userId}} (from a previous node) and Query Parameters to { fields: [ 'id', 'email', 'first_name', 'last_name' ] }.
