Summary

Update the presence, user status, and Do Not Disturb settings for a specific RingCentral extension.

Inputs

• authMode — Select whether to use saved credentials or pass an OAuth access token dynamically.
• accessToken — The OAuth 2.0 access token when dynamic authentication is selected.
• serverUrl — The RingCentral environment endpoint (Production or Sandbox) when dynamic authentication is selected.
• extensionId (required) — The target RingCentral extension ID (defaults to '~' for the authenticated extension).
• presenceStatus (required) — The primary presence status to set (Available, Busy, or Offline).
• additionalFields — Optional settings including custom user status, Do Not Disturb status, presence visibility permissions, and call monitoring alerts.

Returns the updated RingCentral presence object containing current presence status, user status, DND status, and related configuration settings.

Examples

Example 1: Mark current extension as available

Set extensionId to '~' and presenceStatus to 'Available'.

Example 2: Enable Do Not Disturb and set status to Busy for a specific extension

Set extensionId to '123456', presenceStatus to 'Busy', and under Additional Fields select dndStatus as 'Do Not Accept Any Calls'.
