Summary

Send a media message via a specified WhatsApp Business channel to a contact with a configured WhatsApp number, using either a public URL or a binary file as the media source.

Inputs

• Channel (required) — The WhatsApp Business channel to send the media message from; selectable by list or direct ID.
• Contact (required) — The recipient contact who must have a WhatsApp number; selectable by list, ID, phone number, or email.
• Media Type (required) — The type of media to send: audio, document, image, or video.
• File Source (required) — Specifies whether the media file is provided as a public URL or from a previous node's binary data.
• File URL (required) — Publicly accessible URL of the media file to send; required if File Source is 'Public URL'.
• Input Data Field Name (required) — Name of the binary property in input containing the file; required if File Source is 'Binary File'.
• Options — Optional parameters such as caption text, conversation ID to send within an existing thread, file name for documents, and whether to save the sent message in the contact's conversation history.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the sent media message response from the ContactShip API

The output includes the message data sent and any attributes returned by the service. Saving to the ContactShip conversation is controlled by the 'Save to Conversation' option.
