Summary

Send a WhatsApp message using a pre-approved template to a specified contact via a configured WhatsApp Business channel.

Inputs

• Channel (required) — Select the WhatsApp Business channel to send the message from, either by choosing from the list or specifying its ID.
• Contact (required) — Specify the contact to message, which must have a valid WhatsApp number. You can select from a list, use an ID, phone number, or email.
• Template Name or ID (required) — Choose an approved WhatsApp message template by name (or name and language) from the list or specify an ID or expression to select the template.
• Variables Mode (required) — Choose how to provide the template variables: either mapping each variable individually or supplying the components in the Meta Cloud API JSON format.
• Template Variables — Define each variable value for the template when using the 'Map Each Variable' mode.
• Components (JSON) — Provide the template components (header, body, buttons) as a JSON array in Meta Cloud API format when using the 'Using JSON' mode.
• Options — Optional settings including conversation ID to send within an existing thread, language code for the template, and whether to save the message to the contact's conversation history.

Output shape

a single record

Returns the sent message object from ContactShip. The node supports expressions for dynamic input values. If 'Save to Conversation' is enabled (default true), the message is stored in ContactShip's conversation for the contact.
