Shows the typing indicator (bubble) in an iMessage chat via the Photon server. It sends a POST to the chat's typing endpoint and returns a simple confirmation object.

Inputs

  • Chat GUID (required) — Chat identifier, e.g. iMessage;-;+1234567890 for a DM or iMessage;+;chat123456 for a group. Use List Chats to find it. A bare phone/email, or a GUID with a different service prefix, is also accepted. The node tries iMessage;, any; and bare variants until one is found.

Output shape

One item per input item with JSON { typing: true, chatGuid } where chatGuid is the value you supplied.

The server's response body is discarded; the output only confirms the request didn't fail. If every GUID variant returns not-found, or any other API error occurs, the node throws (or emits { error } with Continue On Fail). The indicator stays on until you run Stop Typing or the server or client clears it. Not subject to the inbound-first policy applied to sending operations.
