Summary

Applies a batch of exact HTML replacements to a project documentation page, using its current generation and ETag to identify the content version. Provide a unique command ID for the batch and reuse it only when retrying that exact edit.

Inputs

• Documentation ID (required) — UUID of the documentation page; project short identifiers are not accepted.
• Command ID (required) — Identifier for this edit batch. Reuse it only for an exact retry of the same batch.
• Content Generation (required) — Generation from Get or a previous edit receipt.
• Content ETag (required) — Opaque content ETag from Get, Read Page Blocks, Get Tree, Search Pages, or a previous edit receipt. Send the complete value unchanged, including quotes when present.
• Edits (required) — One or more exact HTML search and replacement pairs. Each search value must match the canonical HTML once; an empty replacement removes the match.

Output shape

A single edit result or receipt from the API.
