Summary

Adds a product to a task using the specified quantity and optional activation settings.

Inputs

• taskId (required) — Task UUID or short number to add the product to.
• productId (required) — Product UUID from catalog to import.
• quantity (required) — Number of units (minimum 1).
• additionalOptions — Optional collection of settings: activeVariantId (variant UUID), activeFromType (Immediately, ProjectBilling, or FixedDate), and activeFromFixedDate (date for FixedDate type).

Returns the created task product record.

Examples

Example 1: Add 5 units of a specific product to a task immediately.

Set taskId, productId, and quantity to 5.

Example 2: Add a product with a specific variant activated on a fixed date.

Set taskId, productId, quantity, and activeFromType to FixedDate with a specific activeFromFixedDate.
