Summary

Update a contact in RD Station CRM by specifying its Contact ID and providing the fields to update, replacing existing values where applicable.

Inputs

• Contact ID (required) — The unique 24-hexadecimal ID of the contact to update.
• Update Fields — A collection of fields to update on the contact, including optional fields such as Birthday (in YYYY-MM-DD format), Name, Job Title, Organization ID, and several arrays like Emails, Phones, Social Profiles, Legal Bases, and Custom Fields. Arrays replace previous entries entirely.

The operation returns the updated contact data object from RD Station CRM, reflecting all changes applied. Arrays like emails, phones, social_profiles, legal_bases, and custom_fields are completely replaced by new supplied values if provided. The Contact ID must be valid, or the update will fail.

Examples

Example 1: Update a contact's name, add a new email and phone number, and set the birthday.

Specify the contact's 24-hex Contact ID and include Update Fields with Name, Emails (as an array with one or more emails), Phones (array with numbers and types), and Birthday (date).
