Summary

Create a webhook in RD Station CRM configured to trigger on a specified CRM event and deliver payloads to a given URL via HTTP POST.

Inputs

• Name (required) — The display name for the webhook to identify it within RD Station CRM.
• Event Name (required) — The specific RD Station CRM event that triggers the webhook, such as contact creation, deal updates, or campaign changes.
• URL (required) — The destination URL where RD Station CRM will send the webhook HTTP POST requests.
• HTTP Method (required) — The HTTP method used for the webhook request; currently only POST is supported.
• Authentication Header — Optional custom header name used for authenticating the webhook request.
• Authentication Key — Optional secret key value included in the authentication header to verify webhook origin.

Output shape

a single object representing the created webhook as returned by RD Station CRM's API

The output includes the webhook's details as confirmation of successful creation. No pagination or multiple items are involved.

Examples

Example 1: Create a webhook that triggers on contact creation events, posting data to a specified external URL with optional authentication headers for security.

Specify a unique webhook name, select 'Contact Created' as the event, enter the target URL, choose POST method, and optionally set authentication header and key.
