Summary

Create a new brand in the Salla catalog by providing its unique name and a publicly accessible logo URL, along with optional additional details such as banner image URL, description, SEO metadata, and translations.

Inputs

• Sub-resource (required) — Select the sub-resource within the Catalog resource, which should be 'brands' for this operation.
• Return Mode — Choose to emit either only the data payload ('Data Only') or the full backend response envelope including status and raw data ('Full Envelope'). Defaults to 'Data Only'.
• Name (required) — The unique name or label of the brand to create. Supports multi-language formats as per Salla's documentation.
• Logo URL (required) — A publicly accessible HTTPS image URL (JPG or PNG, approximately 100x80 pixels) used as the brand's logo.
• Additional Fields — Optional collection of extra brand details including banner image URL, description, metadata title, metadata description, metadata URL, and translations to provide richer brand information.

Output shape

a list of objects representing the created brand data or full API response envelopes depending on the Return Mode selected.

The node output shape varies by the Return Mode input: 'Data Only' returns the core Salla data payload as emitted items (arrays emit multiple items), while 'Full Envelope' returns the full backend response including status and raw data. Errors in the API request emit appropriate error messages.

Example 1: Create a brand with required fields

Set Sub-resource to 'brands', provide a unique Name, and specify a valid HTTPS Logo URL. Select 'Data Only' for Return Mode or omit for default.

Example 2: Create a brand with additional SEO metadata and description

In Addition Fields, add Description, Metadata Title, Metadata Description, and Translations as JSON to include richer brand details in the creation request.
