Summary

Update a single item within an existing order by modifying exactly one of its fields (quantity, branch ID, price, weight, weight type, or options).

Inputs

• Sub-resource (required) — Select the sub-resource within Orders; for updating order items, choose 'items'.
• Item Id (required) — Unique identifier of the order item to update.
• Update Field (required) — Specify which field of the order item to update; only one field can be updated per request.
• Quantity — New quantity value, required if updating the 'quantity' field.
• Branch Id — New branch ID, required if updating the 'branch_id' field.
• Price — New price, required if updating the 'price' field.
• Weight — New weight, required if updating the 'weight' field.
• Weight Type — New weight type (string), required if updating the 'weight_type' field.
• Options — New options array for the order item, required if updating the 'options' field. Defined either via a builder UI or advanced JSON matching Salla API format.
• Return Mode — Choose between returning only the data payload or the full backend response envelope.

Output shape

a single response per input item; can be either just the Salla data payload or the full backend response envelope including status and raw data.

Only one field of the order item can be updated per execution. If multiple fields are set, the node throws an error. The 'Options' field requires a specific array format and supports both builder and advanced JSON modes for user input.

Examples

Example 1: Updating the quantity of an order item with ID 12345 to 10 units.

Set Sub-resource to 'items', Item Id to 12345, Update Field to 'quantity', Quantity to 10, and choose return mode as needed.

Example 2: Changing the price of an order item with ID 67890 to 29.99.

Set Sub-resource to 'items', Item Id to 67890, Update Field to 'price', Price to 29.99.
