Summary

Create a new order item in an existing order on the Salla platform by specifying the order ID and product details including quantity, options, price, and other attributes.

Inputs

• Sub-resource (required) — Select the sub-resource within Orders, typically 'items' for order items.
• Return Mode (required) — Specify whether to return only the core Salla data payload ('Data Only') or the full backend response envelope including status and raw data ('Full Envelope').
• Order Id (required) — The numeric ID of the existing order to which the item will be added.
• Additional Fields — Optional fields for the order item, such as identifier type ('id' or 'sku'), identifier value, quantity, branch ID, item name, price, cost price, weight, weight type, and product options. Options can be provided either via a friendly builder interface or as raw JSON matching Salla's expected array of {id, value:string[]}.

Output shape

a list containing one or more JSON objects representing the created order item(s) or full response envelope depending on Return Mode.

If multiple items are created, multiple items may be emitted. Errors during creation will throw exceptions with details. Use the 'Return Mode' input to configure the response format.

Examples

Example 1: Add a single product item to an order with specified quantity and options.

Set Sub-resource to 'items', provide the Order Id, set quantity and product identifier under Additional Fields, choose 'Data Only' for Return Mode to get just the created item data.
