Summary

Update a specific category within the Salla catalog by providing the category ID along with new or changed details such as name, image, metadata, translations, parent category, sort order, and assigned products.

Inputs

• Sub-resource (required) — Select a sub-resource within the chosen category (must be 'categories' for this operation).
• Return Mode — Select whether the node emits only the updated data payload or the full API response envelope including status and raw data.
• Category (required) — The numeric ID of the category to update in the Salla catalog.
• Name (required) — The new or updated name/title for the category, supporting multi-language input.
• Additional Fields — Optional fields to further customize the category, including image URL, SEO metadata (title, description, URL), display channels, translations for different locales, parent category ID for hierarchy, sort order for display, and associated products with sort order.

Output shape

a list containing the updated category data object(s) or the full API response envelope depending on the Return Mode selected.

The node outputs an array of items, each representing the updated category's data or the full response envelope. Use Return Mode to switch output detail. Errors during update will be thrown as node execution errors.

Set Resource to 'Catalog', Sub-resource to 'categories', Operation to 'Update Category'. Provide the Category ID, the new Name, and optionally fill SEO Metadata Title and Description in Additional Fields to update the category details.
