Summary

Attach a digital file to a specific digital sub-resource of a product in Salla by providing the product ID and a direct URL to the file. Optionally specify a display name for the file and choose the response format.

Inputs

• Sub-resource (required) — Select the specific digital sub-resource within the Products resource to which the file will be attached.
• Product (required) — The unique numeric ID of the product to which the digital file will be attached.
• File URL (required) — The direct URL pointing to the digital file. Salla will fetch and attach this file to the chosen product's digital sub-resource.
• Additional Fields — Optional additional parameters, including 'File Name' to specify the name shown to customers for the attached file.
• Return Mode — Choose whether to return only the Salla data payload ('Data Only') or the full backend response envelope including status and raw data ('Full Envelope').

Output shape

emits one or more JSON objects representing Salla's response data or full response based on the 'Return Mode' setting.

Responses will either be the direct data payload from Salla, potentially emitting multiple items if an array is returned, or the full response envelope including status and raw details. Errors throw detailed NodeOperationErrors with context.

Examples

Example 1: Attach a PDF manual URL as a digital file to product ID 123456 under the digital sub-resource.

Set resource to 'Products', sub-resource to the relevant digital type, operation to 'Attach Digital File', provide 'Product' as 123456, and 'File URL' as the direct link to the PDF. Optionally specify 'File Name' for customer display and select 'Return Mode' as desired.
