Summary

Update an existing Slack User Group by specifying its encoded ID and optionally modifying its name, handle, description, default channels, and whether the user count is included.

Inputs

• User Group ID (required) — The encoded ID of the User Group to update.
• Update Fields — Optional fields to update for the User Group, including: Name (a unique name among User Groups), Handle (a unique mention handle), Description (a short textual description), Channel Names or IDs (a list of encoded channel IDs that the User Group uses as defaults), and Include Count (boolean to include the number of users in the User Group).

Output shape

a single updated User Group record

The output includes the updated properties of the User Group after the API request. The operation requires the User Group ID and updates only the fields provided in 'Update Fields'. It does not support pagination or multiple updates in one call.
