Summary

Update a Slack user's profile fields including email, first name, last name, custom fields, and status details for a specified user ID.

Inputs

• User ID — ID of the user whose profile will be updated; only settable by team admins on paid teams.
• Email — User's email address, changeable only by admins on paid teams.
• First Name — User's first name to set.
• Last Name — User's last name to set.
• Set Status — Set one or more status updates including status emoji, status text, and optional status expiration time.
• Custom Fields — Multiple custom profile fields to set, each specified by field ID (selectable from the team's custom fields) and field value.

Output shape

a single record containing the updated user profile information as returned by the Slack API

The update requires that user IDs be specified only by team admins on paid teams; similarly, email changes are restricted. Status expiration is optional. The node returns the full updated user profile.
