Summary

Create a field in a selected Vika/AITable datasheet. Choose Form to set common field options or JSON to submit a raw field request body.

Inputs

• Space (required) — Select the space containing the datasheet.
• Datasheet (required) — Select the datasheet where the field will be created.
• Input Mode — Choose Form or JSON. Defaults to Form.
• Form field settings — In Form mode, provide a field name and type. Supported types are Single Line Text, Long Text, Single Select, Multi Select, Number, Currency, Percent, Date Time, Checkbox, Rating, URL, Phone, Email, and Attachment. Optional settings configure a description and type-specific properties: default value, select options, precision, number separator or symbol, currency symbol alignment, date/time format and timezone, checkbox or rating icon, and maximum rating. Additional Property JSON merges into the generated property object and can override generated values.
• Field (required) — In JSON mode, provide the raw field request body as a JSON object. The node parses and submits it directly; the UI example is {"name":"New Field","type":"SingleText"}.

Output shape

One or more n8n items, each containing the created field response data as JSON.

The node POSTs the field body to the selected space and datasheet. In Form mode, it includes non-empty description and generated property settings; the Additional Property JSON object is merged into those settings. In JSON mode, the supplied object is sent directly. Invalid JSON or a non-object Field value raises an error; with Continue On Fail enabled, an error item is returned.
